Connect once and your assistant writes marketplace listings, makes the photos and videos that sell them, checks your ranks, and collects the results - because you asked it to.

CONNECT IN THREE STEPS

Get your key. Your API key lives in your account - every plan has one, Free included.
Add the connector. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Optimlister, URL https://optimlister.ai/api/mcp, and send your key as Authorization: Bearer opk_.... A client that only accepts a URL can use https://optimlister.ai/api/mcp?key=opk_...
Ask. “Write my ceramic dripper listing for Etsy and make the 8-second video.” That’s the whole workflow.

Meta Muse: use https://optimlister.ai/api/mcp?profile=muse. Muse gets a read-only cost quote first and must receive your explicit approval before any tool can change data, consume listing quota or credits, or call an external provider. Direct marketplace publishing stays off.

First connect earns +10 credits, once per account - enough for ten marketplace-ready photos.

What is MCP and why should a seller care?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. Once Optimlister is connected, you can tell your assistant things like 'write my kettle listing for Etsy and make the product video' - it calls the same tools the site runs, on your account, with your credits and quota. No new app to learn: you just talk.

Which assistants work?

Anything that speaks MCP over HTTP: Meta Muse, Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app), Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT with connector support, and most agent frameworks. Muse uses a dedicated approval-gated profile; one connector URL, one key.

What can it do with my other connectors?

This is the quiet superpower. Your assistant's OTHER connectors compose with ours: it can pull a product photo from your Google Drive and restage it for Amazon, or read your Shopify catalog and write six marketplace listings from it - no extra integration needed on our side, because the assistant is the glue.

What does it cost?

The MCP server and API key come with every plan, including Free. Tool calls price exactly like the site: listings use your monthly listings, photos and video use credits at the same rates, and free tools (account, saved listings, media gaps, video status) stay free. Your first successful connect adds 10 credits to your balance, once per account.

Why each version differs: every card is written fresh to the rule printed on it - Amazon now uses a 75-character Item name plus 125-character Item Highlights and benefit bullets, Etsy uses buyer-friendly titles and up to 13 tags, eBay uses item specifics, and Walmart uses structured attributes. The meter under each title shows how much of that marketplace's title limit the example uses. Every asset here is a real generator output with its exact cost - see the receipts.
